This small marquetry-patchwork was conceived by the painter as a possible element of a triptych with “ To blue on the right hovering over” and “ To red on the right hovering over”. The owners of this triptych have disposed the series from right to left: yellow, red, blue background. The harmony of the series is brilliant; however the cold blue softens the warm reds and yellows. The ratios of the primary colours between themselves keep off repetitive monotony. Whether on canvas or on paper, the painter creates a unique light for each work
