Bois peint polyuréthane | Collection particulière
Mennessons had exhibited a detachable version of his “ Angulaires au sol” (Angular ground structures) in Basel in 1980. Here, in an ascending movement, the yellow patch rises slightly over the red one and the blue centre stabilizes them. The yellow patch ends in a triangle stretching like the bill of a young bird waiting for its food coming from the empty space against which it stands out. The art-gallery has kept the work for its collection.
