On his return from a trip through the United States, Mennessons created marquetry-patchworks inlaid with white Bristol paper on monochrome sheets. Here, 2 white hexagons lean against the edges of the composition. The shapes, facing each other on the left, draw apart or away from the middle on the right, brush against the centre as if dancing to jazz music.
